Soutien

Besoin d’aide ?

Support

Need help?

Write to us at support@mypianoskills.online. A question, a bug, an idea for a song: we read everything, in French or in English.

For a problem with sound or smoothness, attach the report from the Technical info screen (the gear, then DOCUMENTS › TECHNICAL INFO › SEE THE MEASUREMENTS): tap “PARTAGER LE RAPPORT” (share report; this screen stays in French), then choose Mail. It helps us a lot, and it contains neither your name nor your address.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?
No. You open the app and you play.
Are there ads or a subscription?
No, never. The app is free.
Which devices?
iPhone and iPad, with iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later.
Where is my progress?
On your device only. If you delete the app, your progress is erased.
Three-finger chords come in late, or Zoom opens.
That’s iOS’s accessibility Zoom. When it’s on, iOS keeps three-finger touches for its own gestures, in every app. Tip: leave Zoom off and turn it on only when you need it, with a triple-click of the side button (Settings › Accessibility › Accessibility Shortcut › Zoom).
Which MIDI keyboard can I plug in?
A USB MIDI keyboard that works without a driver, plugged in with a cable to your iPhone’s or iPad’s port, with an adapter if needed. Bluetooth isn’t supported in this version. In Settings › KEYBOARD, “My keyboard” shows the same keys on screen as your keyboard. Does your keyboard have its own speakers? Turn on “My keyboard has its own sound”.
How do I import sheet music?
In My songs, tap IMPORT A FILE and pick a MusicXML file (.mxl, .musicxml or .xml) in the Files app. You can also open it in MyPianoSkills from Mail or Files, with “Open in”. A PDF needs converting first: see the Conversion page.
I can’t find LIBRE.
LIBRE appears at the top of My songs when a MIDI keyboard is plugged in.
What about my data?
The app collects none. Everything is explained in the privacy policy.
